We hadn't intended to visit this farm, but having heard rumors of an excellent olive oil vendor that had been found in this spot before, we decided to check it out. Unfortunately, the olive oil vendor wasn't there (likely due to the weather - there were a lot of closed vendor tents). However, it is a lovely farm with rows and rows of blackberry bushes.
Farm #9 - Jack Russell Farm Brewery & Winery (#36) https://www.facebook.com/jackrussellfarmbrewery We hadn't intended to visit this farm, but having heard rumors of an excellent olive oil vendor that had been found in this spot before, we decided to check it out. Unfortunately, the olive oil vendor wasn't there (likely due to the weather - there were a lot of closed vendor tents). However, it is a lovely farm with rows and rows of blackberry bushes. They have a nice looking brewery on site with a large variety of brews (for those of you beer connoisseurs out there).

When I worked for the dining commons at Sac State, they always got their apples from Rainbow Orchards during Apple Hill season........one of the cooks lived in the area and picked up boxes of apples from them and brought them to work. Mighty tastey!!
