The weather promised a very fall-like day, with rain predicted after many warm summer days, so we set out with our umbrellas to conquer Apple Hill regardless of the weather. While the weather kept us from being able to visit a couple of farms on our agenda and resulted in some of the farms closing some attractions (as well as vendors), it did keep the crowds away and made for a very cozy day (despite wet feet and "rain hair").
